I like it and can recommend the scale. Nice for the price. The body is of plastic and is solid enough if you use it carefully. I think the size is optimal. The display is very bright. Sensor buttons work well. You can turn it off manually (the on/off button) but it also turns off automatically after 1 minute of inactivity (the weight doesn't change) and after 2.5 min of inactivity with the running timer. What I don't like - that is a very thin plastic over the display - it bends under a finger but you can leave with that. I've done a little upgrade to separate the timer and weight numbers - a stick color tape over the display timer digits.
